You may remember my Monday night netball team's farewell post. Well one of the presents this team, called Test Eagles, gave me was a 'Testies Survival Kit'.
My aim is to use each of the 13 contained items on this adventure and post them on this blog with photographic evidence of said usage.
In Mongolia I had the opportunity to light the stove in our Ger with the matches or the flint, to use the glow stick to light my way to the loo 100ft away in the pitch black or even sew on the button that fell off my trousers.
But I didn't dear readers.
Because I learned the first lesson of survival. Your survival kit is useless if you don't have it with you.
